M.Y. International MISSION: Strengthen the Community

M.Y. International strives to fight poverty, hunger, and rural exodus in villages in SENEGAL “One Village At A Time”; and fight homelessness in Seattle, WASHINGTON.

At M.Y. I. we are committed to changing lives by bringing hope back in to the lives of our less fortunate community members. We seek to achieve this mainly by facilitating the conditions for easier access to education and basic healthcare especially for the youth, women, and the disabled. We also provide support in basic human needs.

We truly believe that through our programs and actions we can improve the individual’s overall well-being, which is key to strengthening the community which in turn will spur economic growth and social progress.

Strengthening the overall well-being of our Community is at the core of our mission.

M.Y. International plans of action

In rural SENEGAL -

By breaking the cycle of chronic poverty stemming from lack of education, difficulty of access to basic wellness care combined with the inability to make ends meet, we can drastically reduce the deep deprivation that keeps weakening people’s living conditions. In the same token it helps stop the rural exodus.

In SEATTLE, WASHINGTON -

It’s about giving support and opportunities to the homeless and the needy, the poor and the orphans. Get them hope-filled so that they can become more productive, improve their quality of life, and become self-reliant dignified contributing members of their society.
